Brazil Starting to Come Together!
The great thing in this high tech world we live in now is that it is so much easier to research places to visit. There are the normal tourist sites and blogs, but as I am a very visual person for me the big thing is Youtube. I can use my Lonelyplanet Guide book and then visit Youtube to get a visual. I have to say I do blow hot and cold about Lonely Planet but for general all round information I still find it the best but for visual it is completely useless.
here are some of the Youtube films I have found on my must visit in Brazil list.
Iguacu Falls
I have been lucky enough to have visited Victoria Falls (spectacular!!) and Niagara Falls (not so great after Victoria Falls) but have always wanted to visit Iguaca Falls. They are also good entry points to Argentina and Paraguay as all three countries share part of the falls.
Paraty
Paraty lies south of Rio De Janeiro on the coast but has a backdrop of jungled mountains and has some very well preserved colonial gems, and some very pleasant small Islands in its vast bay.
Ouro Preto
This is now moving a bit inland and I stumbled across this city from a blog I was reading and it does look amazing and can also be done as a break in the long bus journey from Sao Paulo to the Iguacu Falls
